A:I'm originally from Pontiac IL, but live in Bloomington.
Q:Describe being a father of 2...
A:Being a father of two is great. I love being a dad and it gives me an extra push to win.
Q:How did your fighting career begin?
A:I started fighting when an old friend told me that a MMA gym was opening up. I was 25 at the time.
Q:Is it surreal being in the UFC?
A:Ya it was crazy being in the UFC. Just only training for 5 years and making it that far was a dream come true .
Q:Your UFC stats read: Striking 33%, Submissions 33%, Takedowns 33%. What aspects do you want to change, if any, to take it to the next level?
A:Wouldn't change much except... for patience .
Q:Favorite submission move?
Q:Your last fight was a loss in a close decision to Chase Beebe. Looking back, was there a different strategy you would have used?
A:Ya, the Beebe fight I blew it. I came in too fast and also had a ref that let him lay on me and hold me against the cage and not do anything!
Q:Describe how you workout and train for your fights...
A:I train 4 to 5 hours a day. I work on striking, ground work and wrestling for all my fights... and a lot of sprints for cardio .
Q:What's your diet look like?
A:My diet for fights is no carbs. Fish, white meats and eggs... it sucks, but it works.
Q:Can you give us your Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, blog and website handles?
A:You can follow me on Twitter @badboytickle and find me on facebook at Chris Tickle.
Thanks to all my fans for all the support and friends... dreams are true, don't give up on them.
