A:I was born in Serbia...it was one cold night on December, 1986.
Q:Why did you begin training?
A:I started to work out when I had 17. I wanted to gain more weight (I was skinny guy), and to change my life!
Q:When did you realize that you could compete?
A:Desire to compete first came to me 2 years later, after I gained 35 lbs. Some of my older friends gave me encouragement telling me that I have potential to be great! So I decided to step on the stage in fall 2006.
Q:11 IFBB titles later, what's the keys for your success on the stage?
A:There are few things...
Mindset- you must believe you can be the best, because if you don't you will never give your 100%. And if you don't give your all in daily basis...you're just losing time.
Focus- when I'm doing my contest prep, I don't allow myself any kind of distraction! No parties, going out at night, negativity. Every day must be perfect!!!
Passion- I love this sport and enjoying every day doing it!
Q:Can you give us your pre contest workout routine and diet?
A:I love doing super sets and giant sets every contact prep.
Here's one of my favorite chest workouts...
A1 flat bench press (bar) 4x10
A2 inclined press (Dumbbells) 4x12
B dips 4x max reps
C1 inclined press (bar) 3x8
C2 flat bench press(Dumbbells) 3x12
D cables fly 3x20
E pull overs 2x15
Meal1- 8 eggs white,2 yolks
Meal 2- 8 oz turkey,6oz b. rice,broccoli
Meal3-8oz turkey,6oz b.rice ,broccoli
Meal 4- 8oz tilapia,4 oz b.rice,asparagus
Meal 5- 8 oz tilapia,3oz b.rice,asparagus
Meal6- 8 eggs whites,2 yolks,salad.
Q:Favorite cheat meal?
A:I've stopped eating junk food few months ago. Now I don't have cheat meals, it's more like carb loading. And sushi is my favorite!
Q:How did you transition into fitness modeling?
A:It came by itself. I just tried to be in shape all the time. And photographers did all the work.
Q: Where have you been featured?
A:I was on several covers of Serbian fitness magazines, my pictures was in the movie Pain and Gain, my pictures are used by so many different supplements companies (ultimate nutrition,labrada nutrition,extrifit...)!
Q:What's next for you and your career?
A:To be a world wide known athlete, top IFBB competitor, and a better and stronger person!
