Q:Where were you born and raised?
A:I was born in Eagle Pass, Texas and was raised in the U.S. I come from a Migrant Family so we traveled a lot growing up in search of work. My immediate family still resides in the beautiful charm town of Uvalde Texas.
Q:When did you begin your fitness career?
A:I began my fitness career in 2011 when my BF Frank and I decided to take our fitness to the next level and compete in our first bodybuilding competition. I had no ideas that I would fall in love with the lifestyle, immediately I was hooked. I am very grateful for the mentors and coaches I have been blessed with thus far through out my fitness career. It truly is amazing how much you learn about your body, being disciplined and committed to continually setting new goals to be your best each and every day. It has been and continues to be such a rewarding and memorable experience.
Q:What's your diet and workout routine look like?
A:My diet consists of eating mainly whole foods. I eat 6 small meals every 2-3 hours through out the day. Every meal consists of some source of protein, and carbohydrates or fats. Food is my fuel and it gives me the power I need to kick butt during my workouts. I make sure to sleep 6-8 hours daily so that I have time to recover and will have energy to push through my next intense workout. My workout routine changes every 4-6 weeks. It is important to always keep the body guessing and never allow it to become stagnate. I like to shock the body with HIIT training at least 2X a week and do Moderate or Low intensity 4X week. My training split at the moment consists of 3 full body weight training days and various cardiovascular activities to help with maintaining a strong, lean physique year round. I enjoy being active and consistently working towards making improvements in my overall health. I make sure to have at least one rest day I prefer Sundays to allow the body to recuperate and so that I may also prepare for the week with meal prep..

A:My modeling career began when I was 8 years old. My first modeling gig was at the Grand Opening of Wal-Mart in Uvalde, Texas. I was in a fashion show modeling the store clothing. It was such a fun and unforgettable experience for me. I have been a part of several pageants and other fashion shows and I continue to stay active in the fitness/fashion modeling industry. I love getting all dolled up and taking photos. I believe my modeling really launched after the grand exposure that Musclemania/Fitness Universe provides. You get to present yourself if front of top photographers, modeling agents, and sports companies from all over the world. It is the perfect opportunity to get recognized and sponsored for various events such as, photo shoots, print and commercial modeling. I am thrilled about what is coming in the future. There are so many opportunities out in the world but the truth is you have to go and find them.
