A:Yes, born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Q:Best place to eat in Wisconsin?
A:Oh by far the Italian American Club. It’s a classy family restaurant, beautifully managed by Steve Torcaso. The food is amazing, and the bill won’t break the bank. You might even run into me there. I highly recommend having an outing at the Italian American Club, hands down best place to eat in Wisconsin.
Q:When did you decide to compete in the NPC?
A:Being a part of what I call the GNC generation, I worked at a local gym, where I met my friend Sandy Wiedmeyer. She told me about her team of competitors and the upcoming NPC shows. I bounced the idea of competing off a few of the trainers and was overwhelmed with support. I told Sandy I was going to compete and started to prep for the NPC Titan, 4 weeks out. I took 1st, qualifying me for JR Nationals.
Q:What do physique judges look for, in your opinion?
A:I am not certain yet but with more competitions under my belt, I hope to get a feel. I rely on the opinions of people I train with. I know they look for balance and symmetry.
Q:What body fat percentage do you compete at?
A:Well it’s pretty low, I’d say most likely just under 5%.
Q:Can you give us your diet pre contest?
A:I can’t give you the exact diet because it does fluctuate, but I eat everything plain. (Oats, eggs, sweet potato, chicken, greens, etc.) It’s funny, it’s all the foods you were told to eat as a child so you would grow big and strong. Go figure.
Q:What pre contest workout style do you do?
A:Honestly, I don’t really change my workout. I go as hard as I can and as heavy as I can. Growing or shrinking depends 90% on what you’re consuming. Eat a lot and you’ll grow. Cut it back and you’ll shrink. The trick truly is timing.
Q:Describe the transition to fitness model...
A:Modeling is fun and easy. My hardest struggle was keeping my eyes open when I smiled. I chose to pause my brief temptation with commercial modeling. Instead of pursuing modeling immediately, I’m first in pursuit of my NPC pro card.
Q:What's next for your career?
A:Well I’m currently a coach and trainer for Team Iron Nation. I create programs and diets for competitors as well as people who have no intention of ever competing. After obtaining my NPC pro card, truthfully I haven’t decided on a direction. I think if all goes well, competing in Mr.Olympia would be the next goal for me. It looked to be an amazing show and I’d love to be a part of it.
Q:Can you give us all of your social media handles?
