A:I was born in Hartford, CT but I consider Attleboro, MA to be my home town since that is where I have lived since I was 8 years old.
Q:Why did you become a personal trainer and diet consultant?
A:I love to motivate and educate people when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. Seeing my clients accomplish their goals is the most rewarding experience ever and I strive to achieve that experience with each and every one of my team members.
Q:What's one of the biggest mistakes you see your clients making while sticking to their diet and workout routine?
A:Quite simply, not sticking to their diet and workout routine, (which is rare but it happens). I tell all of my clients that I can give them all the tools and do my best to hold them accountable but at the end of the day, only they have the power to change themselves for the better. They have to be true to themselves because they alone have to look themselves in the mirror.
Q:What's your diet and workout routine like?
A:My diet varies depending on the time of year but I follow a high protein, moderate healthy fats and moderate to low clean carbohydrate daily macro intake diet. If I am dieting for a show I incorporate many different methods to enhance the fat shredding process and dial myself in for competition. When not preparing for a show, I allow myself 2-3 cheat meals per week, usually on the weekend. During contest season I train 6 days a week, usually doing double sessions consisting of weight training and cardio.
Q:Tell us about your journey to the NPC...
A:I had always thought about competing in the NPC in bodybuilding but never really pursued it until I had heard about the newly formed men’s physique division. I saw the opportunities in terms of modeling and marketing myself and I made the decision to enter a small regional show (NPC Rhode Island) and was instantly bitten by the competition bug. Here I am 3 seasons later with 8 shows under my belt and currently prepping for my 9th show which will mark my 4th time competing on the national stage for my IFBB Pro Card.
Q:What are the plans for that pro card?
A:Well, hopefully I’ll succeed in earning my professional status this year and if so, the next logical step would be to earn my place on the Olympia Stage.
Q:What other hats do you wear?
A:In addition to competing in the NPC, I am a Father, Husband, Account Manager, Online Trainer/Coach, Diet/Training and Contest Prep Consulant, Silver Model and all around good guy!
Q:Who has been your greatest inspiration?
A:That’s a great but tough question to answer. My bodybuilding/physique idol is none other than the man himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger. After reading his recent autobiography, Total Recall, my level of admiration and respect rose to a whole new level for this man. I also look to my 8 month old baby daughter, Sophia, to get me through all the grueling training sessions, dieting etc that comes with the territory of competing. She is the love of my life.
Q:Can you give us all of your social media handles?
A:Sure! I have my personal page, fan/athlete page and Ripped 2 Shreds Physique Consulting page on Facebook. The addresses are:
