A:I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Q:Describe your first time in the gym...
A:My first experience in the gym was a good one. It just came naturally to me. Most people get intimidated, but for me- it was fun! Of course I had a lot to learn, but I caught on pretty quickly.
Q:What does your diet and workout look like?
A:My diet is pretty basic. I stick to the lean meats such as chicken, turkey and fish. My carbs are oats, rice and sweet potato. Lately I've been incorporating good fats, such as avocados and nuts. I stick to what works best for me.
Q:Give us some keys to keeping low bodyfat...
A:For low body fat, I truly believe it all starts in the kitchen. I always say “abs are made in the kitchen”, so if your diet is right, then the fat will melt off.
Q:How did you transition into fitness model?
A:I started out as a fitness model. Growing up a tomboy, I never thought I had what it took to become a model at all. I was discovered at the Arnold Classic and was published from my very first photoshoot. Modeling for me, is like an alter ego. The hardest part for me was believing in myself to become whatever I want.
Q:Where have you been published?
A:I have been published in various magazines... Maxim, Flex, Muscle and Fitness, Hers, Planet Muscle, Muscular Development, Curves and MuscleMag. I also have three posters sold in FYE, Walmart, Spencers and Kmart.
Q:Tell us about ProSupps and P28Foods...
A:ProSupps is the most amazing supplement company! They are a newer company, but have been dominating the supplement industry ever since they launched. I am truly blessed to be a part of their team. We are like family! P28foods is just awesome! Who doesn't like bread, but protein bread is even better. They now have peanut butter protein spreads, flatbreads and bagels. I see them everywhere. They make dieting fun!!! I highly recommend both of these companies!!
Q:What is next for you and your career?
A:I plan on competing this spring for my pro card. It’s a goal of mine that I am determined to accomplish. I also want to take my modeling to another level. I plan on spending some good time in LA to shoot with various photographers!
