A:I am originally from a small town, Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island, BC. I now, and for the past 10 years, have lived in Victoria, the southern tip of Vancouver Island, (the most beautiful place in Canada!) :)
Q:Why is fitness your chosen career?
A:Fitness is my chosen career because it allows to me to connect with, inspire and help men and women reach their health and fitness dreams. Not only do I get to spend one on one time with my personal training clients each day but with the beauty of technology I am able to connect with unlimited amounts of people across the globe. In the world of health and fitness it can be very easy to become overwhelmed and I take pride in the opportunity to educate my clients towards making their own paths.

**I do 20 minutes of sprint or stepper intervals 4-5 days a week as well, more so if I am prepping for a competition.**
As for my diet I follow a macro plan, that again, depending on my goals will vary a little. I take in approximately 110g of lean protein, 200g carbohydrates, from fruits, vegetables and grains, ensuring I get at least 40 g of fiber as well as between 30-40 g of fat. I drink between 3-4 Liters of water and supplement with Magnum Nutraceuticals.
Q:Tell us about BODYRIPPED?
A:BODYRIPPED is a site I designed a few years ago based upon HIIT training done with nothing more than your own body. I have a free .net site for the public with a huge library of exercises, recipes and fitness related information. On top of that I have developed a 12 week fat loss program that can be purchased and downloaded to your computer. The program consists of 3 phases of training and diet, split amongst the 12 weeks as well as follow along workouts to keep you motivated.
There is also a smart phone app BODYRIPPED MOTIVISION. The app is great because not only is it acting as a portable motivational vision board on your phone but it comes with all of my workouts and even an interval timer. You are now NEVER without the ability to get in a great workout, in under 18 minutes.
A:My favorite movie is a tough question for me. Classically I'd have to say Dirty Dancing but more recently Step Brothers has taken my heart by storm... I'm a sucker for stupid comedy.
Q:Describe your ideal Friday night...
A:Friday night in a perfect world would be a killer workout, maybe a burger, most likely pizza (why I love eating a macro diet) either snuggled on the couch with my guy watching a good movie or out with a few of my best girlfriends laughing our faces off.
Q:What's next for you?
A:This year I am just focused on training my clients, both in person and online. I'd love to grow and develop my online training programs this year. I am re certifying with my sports conditioning and we are actually adding to BodyRipped in a whole different light... STAY TUNED!
