A:I'm originally from VA, but have lived on both coasts. NYC has my heart!!
Q:Me too! Best place to eat in NY?
A:Everywhere!! So many options here, but my favorite places are little spots - Big Nick's Pizza, China Gourmet, La Esquina (taco stand), S'Mac, Melt Shop. But since I'm a sweets person, Molly's Cupcakes & Levain Bakery are my vices.
Q:Why did you begin competing?
A:I started prepping for my first show in September, 2010 and competed for the first time in December of 2010. Wow- 4 years!!
Q:When did you know that you could turn pro?
A:My goal was to always turn pro, so I'm not sure if there was a time when I "knew"...
Q:Tell us about your own pre contest workout routine and diet. HIIT or steady state cardio?
A:I eat a lot and lift a lot!! 5-6 days in the gym with 45 minutes of lifting. I train 2 body parts each session. Minimal cardio, but the intensity of if varies on how I feel! :)
Q:What other projects are you working on?
A:Currently I'm building my website, increasing my social media presence, coaching, prepping, and doing more photo shoots. I've never been a big picture person & rarely take selfies. Does that make me old?? Lol!
