A:Yes, born and raised in Southern California… in between OC and the quiet town of Lake Elsinore.
Q:How did you become a model?
A:My mom modeled with Nina Blanchard's agency, she was on the cover of Cheech and Chong's "Nice Dreams" and the "Hulk" film, (to name a few), so it was inspiring to try it out. I was offered my first shoot in 2008 and I did promo modeling for a little while, a few magazines and calendars but never took it serious. It was always side work for me, but I fell in love with fitness and now my goal is to become a professional bikini competitor. I exercise alot and got really into nutrition- It's just keeping strict to the program! It's hard work and dedication, you really need to be mind strong and focused to actually succeed. I plan to be competition ready by Jan 2014, so I'm on my way! :-)
Q:How do you stay fit for your shoots?
A:As for staying fit, I'm pretty sure you have all the tricks down being in the game, but it's basically 6 days out of 7 in the gym, usually two hours at a time, about 45-60 minutes cardio and weightlifting. I do spin Tuesday and Thursday, and crossfit once a week. If I get bored I have some outdoor stairs close to my house or a nice hike could be just what I need to switch it up, and it keeps me motivated! Diet is key and the hardest part!!
Q:What's the craziest thing you've seen on a photo shoot?
A:Craziest thing on a photoshoot.. haha..probably just nude models shooting. I personally don't do it, but I don't knock other woman for it, it's just a job. Walking up on some naked woman is alway interesting!
Q:Tell us about how you coordinate MMA and boxing matches…
A:I just had a show in Washington last week, it's a lot of fun! While I'm at the casinos it's non stop work dealing with all the flights, making sure fighters have the rooms, meal tickets, medicals turned in, all forms signed and turned in. On show night I’m running back and forth, passing out gloves, staging fighters and making sure the show goes smooth.
I love that I get to meet a lot of interesting talent, we had Floyd Mayweather Seniors’ girl at the last show and I had to grab him from the airport- which was funny because I walked up to him and his response in rap voice was, "Look at you, pretty face, skinny little waist, just my taste"... ha! We're all entertainers in this industry, just at different levels. He was a sweetheart though..
Q:Who is the most famous athlete that you have met?
A:"Most Famous" athlete I've met? That's a hard one! I've met a ton of UFC fighters but I look at boxing more as legendary athletes, maybe because my dad raised me watching it! I've met Sugar Ray Leonard and Evander Holyfield... those are two of the all time! The only person I've ever been intimidated by was Holyfield, don't get me wrong- total nice gentleman, but walking up to “The Real Deal” Holyfield!? Huge famous boxer to introduce my 5'5" self... kind of had me nervous! First and only time that happened.
Q:What other hats do you wear?
A:Other hats?.. I can wear any- and all in style! ;-) But besides that, I’ve been a hairstylist for 3 years and traveled overseas to perform at a hair show in Bahrain. I plan to soon own my own salon in OC! I'm very appreciative of the life I have and remind myself daily that staying humble, positive and grounded is first. I believe in natural energy, meditation and the law of attraction. If you believe you deserve it, the universe will serve it!
Q:I noticed you just kicked a rhyme lol. Can you give us all of your social media handles?
