A:I'm originally from Recife, on the coast of Brazil located right on the equator line where it is NEVER EVER winter time! Beach & sun every single day of the year!
Q:Best place to eat in Brazil?
A:Best place to eat in Brazil, of course, is in my city! We have regional food that's just delicious! Tapioca, corn cake, feijoada, beijinho, canjica, tons of homemade cake.... Looooove them and miss it too!
Q:Why did you get involved with fitness?
A:I always been into sports all my life, indoor and outdoor soccer, handball, basketball, judo, kickboxing, boxing, jazz, swimming, water polo. When I turned 15 years old I got into working out and lifting. I always took it serious, I used to go to the gym and my dad would go there to take me home because I wouldn't leave.
Q:When did you realize you could compete?
A:Competing always seemed like a far dream for me while I was in Brazil. When I was 19 years old I moved by myself to Canada to study. I was in a year just studying and got a little far from the gym environment, then I realized I wasn't happy with myself and my life. I decided to radically change my life and go for my dream which was train hard fully focused and eventually compete. I met my boyfriend right on time when I made that decision - I was about to turn 21 years old - he helped a lot to make my dreams come true. In the same year I moved to UK where I was being sponsored as fitness model and athlete of H2N Nutrition. Right there when it happened I got really into the fitness world! I experienced so many good things and decided to be hungry and fight for my dreams. Before I just kinda wanted it, but there's a line between wanting and needing it. I needed it, it got to the point that I needed it as bad as I needed to breath, and I'm on this point right now, I'm hungry, you gotta be hungry, the hunger is unstoppable. I'm unstoppable. I live for it, I breath it, I eat it, I am it! Write my name down, you guys will hear that a lot.
Q:Would you ever step outside of the bikini division?
A:I love the bikini division, but if I change before that I'll make sure I'll reach all my goals in that division, when I get everything and there's nothing left, may be I will need more challenges.
Q:What's your workout and diet routine look like?
A:I train everyday with my coach, Nissa Ekland. The training and diet is different everyday. She looks at me and she just knows what I should and shouldn't. She adds here, takes there, is exciting and never gets boring!
Q:Favorite cheat meal?
A:Favorite cheat meal..... sooo many, but I recently found out this pizza burger at Boston pizza that makes me cry whenever I have it, that's my currently favorite bad cheat meal. Also Brazilian food like black beans and steak - it's not a real cheat but sometimes I gotta eat my "cheat clean".
